Service Provision

Delivering livelihoods services and community-driven and market-based improvements to 20,000 refugees and host residents in low-income neighborhoods in Kampala and Nairobi.

Re:Build is experimenting with different service options to support individual clients to either find jobs or start/grow their own businesses, while managing financial risks. Initial services include:

  • Business Grants
  • Apprenticeships
  • Mentorship
  • Skills Certification
  • Savings and Loans group
  • Loan Guarantee Fund
  • Multipurpose Cash Assistance

At community level, we are focusing on capacity sharing with Neighborhood Development Committees, refugee-led organizations and city governments.
